CAPACITY
A Women’s Business & Leadership Intensive
April 29 - May 2 2027
You started your business for a reason.
Somewhere underneath the emails, financial decisions, client needs, staffing challenges, marketing, problem-solving, and constant figuring-it-out was an idea about something you wanted to create.
CAPACITY is an opportunity to come back to that idea, while becoming better equipped to build the business around it.
This three-and-a-half-day intensive brings eight women entrepreneurs together at The Haven for business and leadership development in a setting designed to give you room to think, learn, restore, and be deeply supported.
Because building a business asks a lot of a person.
You are expected to make good decisions about things you've never done before. To know when to hire, when to delegate, when to spend, when to hold back, when to change direction, and when to trust yourself. Much of entrepreneurship is learned through trial and error, and some of those lessons are unnecessarily expensive.
CAPACITY is designed to help you learn faster, lead better, and build with greater intention.
The Experience
This isn't a conference, and it isn't quite a retreat.
It's three and a half days set apart from the ordinary demands of running your business, with enough structure to do meaningful work and enough spaciousness to actually hear yourself think.
With only eight women, the experience is intentionally personal.
You'll participate in high-level business and leadership sessions addressing the real work of entrepreneurship: financial stewardship, marketing and sales, systems, hiring, delegation, difficult conversations, decision-making, and knowing when it's time to bring in expertise beyond your own.
Before you arrive, you'll complete leadership assessments designed to help you better understand your strengths, patterns, and the kind of support you need around you. During the intensive, you'll have an individual business coaching session focused specifically on you, your business, and what comes next.
You'll also learn from the other women around the table through facilitated peer advising, shared meals, honest conversation, and the kind of informal exchanges that often become as valuable as the formal sessions.
And throughout it all, there will be room to breathe.
Because Your Body is Part of the Business, Too
We don't believe the personal and practical sides of entrepreneurship can be neatly separated.
The person having the difficult conversation is you.
The person deciding whether to take the risk, make the hire, change direction, or ask for help is you.
And the person whose creativity, judgment, energy, and courage the business depends upon is also you.
That's why CAPACITY intentionally makes room for both.
Alongside the business work, the weekend includes yoga and movement, individual massage therapy and biofield tuning sessions, nourishing meals, time outdoors, rest, and space for reflection.
It's surprisingly easy to build a business from the neck up, spending our days thinking, deciding, creating, and solving while forgetting about the body carrying us through all of it. But our ability to create, lead, stay present, and do good work is connected to how well we tend to ourselves.
That's why movement, massage, biofield tuning, nourishing food, time outdoors, and rest are woven throughout CAPACITY.
Not as an escape from the work, but as another way of building the capacity to do it.

Betsy Schultz, MBA
Host and Facilitator
Betsy is an entrepreneur, strategist, and the creator of CAPACITY. Her businesses include strategy, healthcare, florals and hospitality, giving her firsthand experience with both the possibility and the weight of building something of your own. Her work is rooted in a belief that strong businesses need capable, healthy humans at the center of them, and that entrepreneurs shouldn't have to learn every lesson the hardest way possible.
Betsy is the owner and host of The Haven, the property where she grew up and has spent years shaping in partnership with the land. CAPACITY brings these worlds together: serious business and leadership development within a place designed for beauty, reflection, honest conversation, and genuine restoration.

Ren Sullivan
Somatic Embodiment Guide & Massage Therapist
Ren is a trauma-informed somatic bodyworker and massage therapist based in Seattle, with more than 20 years of experience. Through her practice, Body of Eden, she supports clients in reconnecting with their intuition, reclaiming body trust, and restoring inner safety, particularly those healing from trauma, spiritual disconnection, or systemic shame.
Her work integrates sacred touch, nervous system education, intuitive movement, and ritual, grounded in the belief that healing begins in the body and that the body speaks a language older than words. Ren collaborates with therapists and other healing practitioners to offer wraparound care rooted in presence, safety, and soul. Her sessions and workshops help people access what the body remembers and what the younger self still carries, not as something broken to fix, but as a wise collaborator in healing.

Brenda Watson
Yoga Instructor
Brenda found herself in the movement field guided by one mantra and goal, to use the body to heal the body. She is a trauma informed Yoga instructor and owner of the Eugene based studio “The Yoga Place” which she opened with the desire to bring movement and community to people that had struggled to feel safe in both. With a degree in human physiology, and 15 years experience in multiple movement modalities, she works to bring education, levity, choice, and soul to each class she teaches.
Location
CAPACITY takes place at The Haven, a private retreat property tucked into Oregon's Southern Willamette Valley.
There are woods to wander, a creek running through the property, gardens, quiet corners, nourishing food, and places to sit with a cup of coffee and nowhere you need to be for a few minutes.
The setting is intentional.
Sometimes we need distance from the place where we solve problems in order to see them differently. Sometimes the next good idea arrives during a walk instead of a workshop. Sometimes being cared for makes it possible to notice just how much you've been carrying.
And sometimes the most important conversation of the weekend happens around the dinner table.
We've made room for all of it.
Who Should Apply?
CAPACITY is designed for women in approximately their first 10 years of business ownership, with preference given to those in their first five.
You don't need to have everything figured out. In fact, that's rather the point.
We're looking for women who have built something real and want to become better at leading it. Women who are curious, coachable, generous with others, willing to ask good questions, and able to be honest about both what's working and what isn't.
We also care about the room we're creating.
With only eight places, participants will be selected through an application process not simply for what they might receive from CAPACITY, but for what they will bring to the experience of the other women.
The Cost
This event is $2,500 per person. This includes lodging, food, three group training sessions, an individual coaching session, massage session and Biofield tuning session.
What You Take Home
We want you to leave The Haven rested, certainly.
But that's not enough.
We want you to leave knowing your business better.
Knowing yourself better.
Clearer about what deserves your attention and what doesn't. More confident about the decisions in front of you. Better able to recognize where you need help and how to find it. Equipped with practical tools you can begin using when you get home.
And connected to seven other women who now understand something about what you're building and what it asks of you.
The goal of CAPACITY is not to give you three beautiful days away from your business.
It's to change something about how you return to it.
